Matilda

How it works

You keep your number. Your phone provider sends the calls you choose to Matilda.

  1. You describe your clinic: hours, services, prices she may quote.
  2. You connect your calendar. Cliniko — working (tested end to end on a Cliniko account) Without a connected calendar she takes booking requests and your team confirms.
  3. You turn on call forwarding to Matilda’s number.

Cloud phone systems

3CX, RingCentral, Teams, Aircall and hosted PBXs: forwarding is a setting in the admin portal (“call forwarding”, “overflow” or “no-answer destination”). Set the destination to Matilda’s number. We can do it with you on a short screen share.

Good to know

  • Your provider bills forwarded calls as a normal call to an 07 number (usually included in business plans). Check your plan if unsure.
  • Test it: ring your clinic from a mobile and let it ring out. Matilda should answer.
  • Codes are from Telstra’s support pages (checked 31 October 2026); Optus and Vodafone use standard GSM codes. Your provider may differ.
