Criminal intake,
built for the urgent calls.

Most criminal enquiries are urgent. Bail applications. Watch-house calls. Family members searching for representation at 2am after a sudden arrest. We're developing a criminal-specific intake with appropriate escalation pathways — designed in close collaboration with a small group of QLD criminal lawyers. Register below for early access.

If you've been arrested or detained: You have the right to request a lawyer. Call Legal Aid Queensland on 1300 651 188 (available 24/7 for serious matters), or contact a criminal defence solicitor directly.
Scope

What we'll cover.

Criminal law sits at the most urgent end of legal practice. Bail timelines are measured in hours, not days. The first call to a watch-house often comes from a panicked family member, not the accused. The intake must triage urgency from the first message.

Our criminal intake is being co-designed with practitioners — focused on appropriate escalation, after-hours triage, and conflict-checking workflows.

  • Bail applications and watch-house enquiries
  • Drink and drug driving (DUI / DUI / TIC)
  • Drug offences and possession
  • Assault and public order offences
  • Domestic violence orders
  • Property and theft offences
  • Sentencing and appeals
  • Court representation enquiries
